Council Tax

Ealing has exempted care leavers from Council Tax

Council tax is exempted up to the age of: 25

Ealing does not include care leavers from other areas in their council tax exemption policy

Ealing in principle will assist as a guarantor for care leavers in private rented property

Details:
We are currently launching a scheme whereby we will act as a guarantor for up to a year and then the young person will have evidenced that they can sustain a tenancy in private rented properties.
