Young people have access to support from designated EET workers both in Independent Futures and in the Youth Employment and Skills (YES) Team. These staff provide them with career guidance, practical support such as interview preparation skills, cv writing and support with settling into employment or training including meeting with employers or tutors where appropriate.

Head and deputy head of CAIS meet with Councillors and CAIS are members of our Corporate Parenting Board. CAIS also have opportunities to meet with senior leaders to discuss areas of practice development and co-production.
We are currently developing this and have matched a few YP to Directors for mentoring. We are hoping to develop this area further so all final year university students are matched for mentoring with a senior leader.
