Provide a letter from their Local Authority Support Worker/Social Worker confirming the date they became a Care Leaver OR Permission to contact the Local Authority regarding their status as a Care Leaver
Housing

Priority is offered up to the age of: 21

Banding priority is: Maximum 200 points

Additional information / how to qualify:
Care leavers can contact their Throughcare and Aftercare Worker if they feel priority points should be awarded a second time or outwit the Housing Protocol Guidelines.
Care leavers get to practice independent living with taster flats

Additional information:
Two of our three residential houses have an independent living room where young people who are preparing to move on can develop and practice life skills with support from residential staff.
