Perth and Kinross Council work with partner agencies including Youth Services,

Additional details:
Under 22 Scheme provides free bus travel for care leavers. If the need arises to

Council will finance travel costs.

Details of council:
Children in care and care leavers have the opportunity to participate in the Fun Young Individuals (FYI) group who meet on a weekly basis where they have a voice and engage in discussion on issues that directly impact on them which can contribute to local and national policy.
Perth and Kinross Council has regular corporate parenting meetings which include
care leavers who have a voice within this forum to highlight what is important to them and how services should respond.

Perth and Kinross Council is hoping to offer the Grandmentoring Scheme which is

and emotional support as well as offering positive role modelling.

Young people who access their care files get emotional support before, during and after disclosure
